I know a lady who has been a missionary for many years. She started a program like this with sheep in mountain villages, which was, and is, very successful. In Austria there are plenty of organisations and initiatives to help victims of poverty. Besides my family is &amp; was engaged in some projects in Malawi. Poverty isn&#39;t the main problem there, but Aids-Hiv. With a little help form the US or Europe a lot can be accomplished in these poorer countries. So everybody keep up your good intentions. I work for Heifer and I have seen the impact of what our staff does. Much of our work is in building communities. We work with many womens groups. Helping them reclaim the powerful bonds between them and overcoming the effects of imposed isolation. I have seen first hand the difference in what women can do if they work together.<BR/><BR/>This blog is another fine example of what we can do when we work together. <BR/><BR/>It is very encouraging to see the support. <BR/><BR/>BTW, most of the employees give monthly donations and there is no pressure to do so.
