Oh Kate - you make me laugh! I actually thought of you today when I heard the weather report on the Today show this morning. I was like, holy shit, Kate is up there in North Dakota freezing her ass off! Now I know it was just a good reason to watch some good infomercials and I won't feel so bad for you the next time I hear North Dakota talked about on the Today show.

Is Billy Mayes the guy who screams all his lines on those OxiClean ads?? Why does he scream? I mean, I get all the excitement over getting blood stains out of a white shirt but to scream about it?!

My MIL is an informercial lover too and every Christmas and birthday I get something that she's bought from one. Of course not the big expensive stuff but the little things like the pancake turner, the donut maker thingie, the can opener. Some of it works and some of it is a total waste of $$

You are ALSO a manufactures dream. I am always trying everything new. Lucky for me, my family and my wallet, I don't do the infomercials. I DO want to try the Shamwow and the GT express. I am like you.. I look for people to say how much the thing sucks so I don't have to buy it. BTW have you tried the Kinoki Foot Pads? My SIL swears by them.. but I want someone to give them to me.
