Confessions of a Three-Year-Old is back, mainly because the three-year-old is back. If you don't know what I'm talking about, then you need to read this blog more often, see I Have My Self All to My Self. But with the little monkey arriving only two days ago, the confessions are a little sparse this week. Nevertheless, he still managed to cram in a little bit of weirdness into the week.
Apparently, on his way home from Idaho on Sunday, hubby reminded him that since they'll be on the road all day, Kaydn Rye would not be able to hold in his potties until the absolute last minute. He would have to allow time to find a bathroom.
I guess it went down something like this:
Hubby: You have to tell me if you feel like you have to go potty, otherwise we'll have to go potty on the side of the road, and you're bare butt will be hanging out for everyone to see.
Kaydn Rye: No, I don't want to have to pee on the road, I don't want to step in the potty bubbles. That would be yucky.
You may not know this, but he has an extreme fear of germs.
And he must still be recovering from his vacation, because yesterday he was apparently pretty winded. During his afternoon toy pick-up routine, he says to me, "I can't do this anymore, I need some water. I've got to take my shirt off."
All that work was making him pretty parched, and he did end up taking his shirt off, in the sunroom, which was about 66 degrees yesterday.
And last but not least, here are some photos which confess it all.
Here's us playing ball in the sub-freezing temperatures.

And here's the dark knight in action.

He's a little shy about revealing his real identity.

Hey I get it! Nobody likes to step in potty bubbles!!! hee hee soooo cute!
potty bubbles! That made me laugh!
At least your little monkey leaves the potty bubbles on the floor where someone can step in them...mine like to leave them in undisclosed nooks and crannies of my bathroom, leaving an odiferous scent that we can never fully eliminate!
Happy you have your dark knight back home with you Kate, and you have to get the mother of the year award for playing in the subzero temps!
I absolutely love reading your posts about the things your son says...so hilarious!! Potty bubbles...I love it!!!
Potty bubbles is my favorite too. I'd love to know where he got the idea of being tired and taking his shirt off, LOL.
Potty bubbles... how cute?
I love his horse!
Potty bubbles? Where did he got that idea?
He's adorable! Potty bubbles??!! That's great... Hopefully he won't be as bad as Monk or Howie Mandell with his fear of germs.

I had some problems with the error message, too. I had to go to your site with firefox instead of explorer, and then it worked fine.
